  • 1 September – 4 October. Season of Creation. Theme – ‘Listen to the Voice of Creation’
  • 3 October, 5-6pm – Listen to the Voice of Creation: Pakistan – Archdiocese of Birmingham. Guest Speaker Columban Fr. Liam O’Callaghanwill discuss the devastation caused by recent flooding in the Sindh province of Pakistan where he lives and works.On Zoom.
  • 22 September – 7 November: Walk2COP27 – Virtual walk from Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh organised by Sam Baker. Participants include the Laudato Si’ Animators. Download the App and log your steps in solidarity with others around the world! A virtual townhall meeting takes place in each of the 12 countries en route: Scotland, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt.
  • 24 September – 2 October: Great Big Green Week. The Climate Coalition – Step up for climate, nature and people
  • 26 September, 12.30-2.30pm: Walk2COP27 Townhall 2 – London. Join online or in person at King’s College, Science Gallery London – KCL, Great Maze Pond, E1 9GU. Bishop John Arnold joins a panel of other speakers to discuss the challenges of climate change for England.
  • 28 September-26 October, 7-8pm: ‘Laudato Si’, Politics, Theology and Beyond.’ Wednesday evenings course at London Jesuit Centre, 114 Mount Street, London. £50 suggested contribution
  • 7-8 October: Green Christian Conference – Building back greener? Christian perspectives on the future of our economy, money and work. Friday 7pm, Zoom, with Paul Kingsnorth. Free.   • 25 October, 7.30-9.30pm: Catholic People’s Weeks Annual Autumn Online Lecture with Dr Carmody Grey – Living in a Time of Crisis: Christianity and Ecological Catastrophe. Dr Grey is Assistant Professor of Catholic Theology at Durham University and a visiting research fellow at Laudato Si Institute, Oxford.
